I have to say, you've got an amazing gallery! Beautiful models with great shots! How can someone like me get started doing what you do? I'm just a poor country boy who's only done nature shots, but I'd love to get into portraits and eventually nude shoots.

Thanks for the compliment.
There are several ways to get started. One way is to join a free site like Model Mayhem.com You can search for models in your local area and some of them will probably be willing to shoot on a TFP basis. This means you work out a deal with the model to shoot for free as long as you give her copies of the images or you could hire a model.
Another way is to look for a model photography workshop. This is of course a much more expensive way but you get good training and work with some great models. I've done several workshops with Rolando Gomez and have been happy with the results.
Or just ask a friend if you can practice with her.
Hope this helps.

Ok, well, unfortunately I don't have access to hardly any of that. I live in a small town and barely make $20-$40 a month doing odd jobs. I also, sadly, have no friends that live in the town at this time. I've looked at Model Mayhem, but was rejected due to my experience having only been with nature shots and not model shots thus far. I don't suppose you know anyone interested in modeling out in Tennessee? Hehe.

I'd love to visit Tennessee sometime but haven't been yet.
A few other ideas to get started.
There are often charity organizations looking for a photographer to take photos.
Go to events where people like to be photographed like parades, civil war reenactments, etc. I've gotten good results from both.
You can always put an ad on Craigslist looking for a model.
Where there's a will there's a way, just keep looking for opportunities.

Tennesse has some very nice scenery but not much else around my tiny town. No one here even uses craig's list. However, we do have a radio "swap shop" where I could post that I'm looking/offering. As for charity organizations, I can look at the Boy Scouts...I don't know of many others in the town. Also, our only parade is at Christmas time. I'm definitely continuing to look and trying to find someone to "mentor" me nearby, but it's slow going.
