How much of your photography is the models choice, in terms of pose, and how much is your instruction. The final pieces are all so captivating and engaging I'd be interested to know
Unless I have a specific shot in mind I usually just give the models a general idea of what I'm after and then let them pose however they want. Then when I see a pose that I like I'll often ask her modify it to something I like even better. But in the end the models get most of the credit for the poses.
